Backroad Bookmaps

I have installed Backroad Bookmaps N.B Garmin compatible maps on my PC. The maps are supposed to be recognized by both Base Camp and Mapsource, however they are not. I contacted Backroads two weeks ago and have not received a reply. Can anyone help. I would like to get this running and installed on my Nuvi 550. Thanks
