Altitude not calculated

Hi there

After i created a course i'd like a summary of the altitude gain and loss. But it isn't calculated and not shown. The graph with the altitude profile works fine. But in the summary of a course the place where the gain and loss should be displayed only shows a blank space. Does anyone know a solution?

Old message but same problem :
- a downloaded track with no altitude data;
- when I transform it into a route, it displays an accurate elevation profile, presumably from the map elevation data (OpenMtbMap);
- but this route does not display total ascent and descent! I must evaluate it visually from the profile!!! this is stupid, since the data is here and could easily be computed automatically!
- and when I choose the option to read the elevation data of the track from the map data, nothing happens;
- when I re-export the route into a track, the track has still no elevation data...
