iPhone with MapSource

Hello,

I was wondering if I purchased the Garmin iPhone app, will I be able to use MapSource to create routes then upload them to the iPhone? Is there any way to create custom routes and upload them to the iPhone Garmin app or do you need a Garmin physical GPS device for this?

MapSource and the iPhone are not compatible. No way I'm aware of to create true custom routes and load them to the phone. Best to use a Garmin GPS if you want to use MapSource or BaseCamp.
