Nuvi 1490T stopped connecting

USB connection to PC stopped working. Upon connect, Nuvi shows normal connection interface (progress bar followed by PC to GPS icon), but Windows 7 never sees it. After a short period, Nuvi reverts to loading maps and displaying typical navigation interface. Any advice?

Could be something as simple as a faulty cable, do you have another one you could try?

Try downloading the latest Garmin USB drivers. Sometimes these get messed up.

The 1490T uses mass-storage mode and doesn't require any drivers.
