Hi

I used my garmin this afternoon for the first time, and I'm wondering how to search other courses, a few hours ago I searched with succes for courses in Amsterdam. Now the map starts in Zwolle everytime, and whem I'm searching for Amsterdam I get no hit, search-results are loading by showing a black rectangle whith a moving circle, and after that I have zero results. Can anyone give me the solution?

If anyone doesn't understand this please tell, then I record the monitor. Then you understand it for sure.

    Hello Paul,

The search function in GC is very crappy.
What I find that works the best for me is to enter Lat, Long of a specific area into the "Starting Near" box.
I get the Lat,Long from the trackpoints of rides of others and from Google Earth searches.
I have a small notebook in the drawer with many locations saved using the time honored pencil & paper method.
Also, be sure to open the "Show Filters" box and in "Time Period" select "Last 365 Days".
If 365 days yields nothing then use "Custom" and go back several years.
Once you get some rides to come up be very careful to right click each ride and select "Open Link in New Tab".
Otherwise the freaking software will kick you out of your search area.
    Good Luck

    Hello Datezz,

Thanks for your answer, I use Google Chrome now for GC because IE cannot send workouts to the fr. And Chrome is allready much better.

    Greets Paul.
