How do I set this workout up correctly.... (lost my workout data tonight)

I tried to set up a cardio workout tonight for my 405 tonight w/ Garmin Connect

Warm up 5 minute - Treadmill
Interval 10 minute L2 - Row
Interval 7 minute L2 - Bike
Interval 10 minute L2 - Step
Interval 25 minute L2 - Bike
Cool down 5 minute - Treadmill

I downloaded the workout to my watch and started the workout....

Got as far as the end of the bike and looked at my watch and realized it had decided the workout was over and was transferring the activity to my laptop. Rat Farts!

A) Is there something about the definition of the step "Interval" that bit me and would it have worked if I set it the Step to "Other" or
B) is the Workout generator busticated and I should create my workouts with something other than Garmin Connect (Training Center?) if I want to get to the end of a workout OR
C) I should never have my USB stick plugged in while working out OR
D) None of the above and my mistake was....

I ran the workout twice and got the same behaviour each time.

Any clues would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Robert

... Possible answer to my own question... FR405 Training -> Options -> Timeout -> Enabled - NO

Two devices attached -- Heart pounding away with the HRM. Footpod likely dropping off for about 30-60 seconds.
Maybe the FR has decided that if there is no signal from any device in then it should stop working. Not sure but disabling the Timeout seems to allow the workout to run through to completion normally.
