Charger for 3590

I have a Garmin nuvi 3590. Want a charger that works on Europe (220) current and US (110) current.
Garmin has a US charger and a Europe charger but not both currents in the same device.
Help.

Most chargers work over the range 100-250v, at least the ones I have do. I'm suprised the Garmin ones don't, but then again there are plenty of 3rd party chargers that will do the job and work in both the US and EU.

Personally I use readily available, and cheap, AC-cigarette lighter power adapters and the standard Garmin cigarette lighter cord.

And the other alternative is an AC plug with a USB socket so you can use the USB cord.

The trouble with those is that some cause the GPS unit to enter mass-storage vs charging mode and/or constantly cycle between them.

Not seen that, at least not the cycling, but I bow to your additional wisdom :)
