Geocaches not showing on Oregon 450

For some reason my Oregon 450 is only showing 3 geocaches, I know I have more then 20 on it and in Basecamp they all show as being there, anyone have an idea what the problem could be?
Edit: I have just noticed that all my Waypoints and Tracks are also not showing on the Oregon but are showing in Basecamp.
  • How did you get the waypoints, geocaches etc on to your Oregon? Are they stored internally or on a SD card?

And when you say they 'show in Basecamp' is this only when your Oregon is connected?

Sorry should have given more info, all the Geocaches (GPX files) are transferred to the Oregon from Geocaching.com when it is connected to my computer, the Waypoints I manually add the coordinates, they all show in Basecamp when my Oregon is connected to the computer, all the GPX files also show in My Computer>Garmin>GPX folder, all files are on internally, I do not have an SD card in it, I have just added a Geocache file and it said it was already on my device so I added it again and it does now show on my Oregon, it now shows 4 Geocaches files when in fact there are more then 20, I have checked that they have not been filtered out, all the filters for geocaches are on so it should show them all, I could add them all again but that doesn't really solve the problem of why it is happening.
  • Have a look in Set up, Map, Advanced Map setup at the zoom levels set to show the various map items. Maybe they've been set so that you'll only see user waypoints at certain zoom levels?

I just checked and all the zoom levels were set to Auto, I tried turning them of, setting as distance but it did not make any difference.
Edit, I have to say that all the Geocaches and Waypoints were showing the last time I used my Oregon which was 3 weeks ago
  • Next thing I'd try is to delete everything and start over. There may be a problem with the files. If that fails try a hard reset.

I deleted all the files and started over again, all are now showing once again, thanks for your help.
  • Are you sure only the recently added ones are showing up? Have you tried scrolling the map to see if other caches are loaded? If they really aren't showing then you should be able to use Basecamp to copy all the caches to your PC, delete them all off your Oregon and send them back from your PC. Will only take a few minutes.
