I've been using the 5k Heart Rate training plan which is published in "Explore Training Plans". I was about 4 weeks into the schedule and found there were now Time/Distance training plans available. I found the Heart Rate training plans a bit weird to work with so I changed from the Heart Rate training to the Time/Distance.
My problem with the Time/Distance training plan is there is no proper description or any zone alert to be in while actually doing the workout steps. On the watch as an example it just says "Run for 3 minutes", then the next step says, "Run for 2 minutes", and next step "Run for 1 minutes" and so on.
When I review the steps from the "Explore Training Plans" there is a greater detail of each step that the workout on the watch is missing. For example, we can see for Week 7, Day 2:
• Warm up, 10 minutes.
• Run, threshold pace, 3 minutes. Run, 10K pace, 2 minutes. Run, 5K pace, 1 minute. Recovery run/walk, 1.5 minutes. Repeat 2 times.
• Cool down, 5 to 10 minutes.
• Stretch.
Is it possible to add this detail in the workouts when the workouts are uploaded to the watch?
Furthermore, is it also possible to have a print option so that if the workout on the watch can't be resolved to include better description of the step then at least to be able to print out the week so on the day you know how fast each step is needed for the run...
BTW - I think these workouts are awesome and add real value to owning 310xt and 910xt watches!
