Hi. I have a Forerunner 410 and every once and a while I get activities that won't transfer properly into Garmin Connect. I use Ant Agent to transfer. The file is there and you can see it there if you try to manually upload the file. Some have thought that this happens if the file becomes corrupt, or if I don't reset the activity after completing it (prior to the watch going into power save mode). I was pretty sure on the last one that I restet the activity when done. This is a little frustrating as I always need to just delete these activites. I'm just concerned that one day it will be a race or something I feel is important that I loose. Any folks with this problem?
unfortunately this is a common problem of many Garmin products which many Garmin users know well.
Tools like the Fit File Repair Tool (http://fitfilerepairtool.info) are able to repair more than 99% of corrupted files. The risk of data corruption can be reduced by minimizing the number of files stored in the Activities folder on your device (X:/Garmin/Activities).

I have the same problem. It's frustrating because I just got a new 410 because my 405 kept going berserk whenever it rained. Twice now I've tried to upload 3-4 days of activities and only the last day will upload. I reset each activity so there's no reason for it. I end up manually adding the activities but loose all the mapping and elevation, which is what I believe we're paying extra for. I can time myself and map my course for free on Map My Run so I'm beginning to wonder where the value is?
