Extrapolate PB from any activity instead of just one that ends at the right distance

I ran 23km yesterday. I want to be able to see my best 1km, 5km, 10km, HM etc from that run and if it is my overall best, have it show up on the home screen. As it stands, I still dont have a HM PB because I stopped at 23km instead of exactly 21.1km.

I Second a request to pull Personal Records from longer runs/rides

YES! I would love if GC could do this...it is what I love about Strava...

It's stange how some free services have this feature, and this gigantic Garmin, doesn't.
  • What gets me (which is linked in with Erics comment) is that when I set a workout to be, for example, 10mins warm up, 5k main session (race), then 5mins cool down, if I run a PB in the 5k split then I can't add this as a PB (even though garminconnect recognises it as a split) - I am able to add the whole run as the 5k PB however it takes the full distance and full time which looks pretty average once you include the warm up and cool down. I don't think its a case of extrapolating out - its more a case of disecting the actuals.

    +1

This is where Strava beats out most all other services.

Definitely need this...I use both Endomondo and Strava and both of those services automatically work out my best times over various distances for running, cycling and swimming. If GarminConnect can't provide this service I don't see the point of it tbh....might as well stick with Strava and/or Endomondo.
