310XT - Settings - Strange Behaviour

Hi,

I have been using 310XT for few months and everything has been working fine. Yesterday I suddenly noticed that the data fields for display is different from what I had setup initially [ 4 quadrants ]. I tried to re-set the fields to what I would want. As i move from one field to another, the previous fields get set to some other field that I am not interested in. For e.g if i set the Field 1 = Time and move to field 2 and set it as speed, then field 1 would change to Time to Next, and when i return to field 1, field 2 would become calories.

I thought that it may be due to memory filling up. However, the memory usage is just 10%

All these are for run settings

Its simply frustrating.

Your help to fix this issue would be much appreciated

Thank you
Arun

    Data fields changing on 310xt

I have had the same thing happen with my 310xt. I have used the 310 since 2009 and never had a problem, until now. I thought perhaps it was time to get a new forerunner. Doesn't seem to be an answer to this. DId a hard reset help?

I wish someone, or someone from Garmin, would reply to this post, as I have the same problem. I've had the watch for several years and can't believe it's time to get a new watch.

Hard reset does not work. Watch records information and then is capable of downloading it but there's no way to see the data in real time, while you are exercising. When I use mode to go from the settings back to the data fields, the screen then goes blank, or does not allow me to even see the data field (goes right back to History/Settings).

    Help!
