I had an 800 for several years and just moved to the 810. Most of the routes I dropped into either unit were plotted using RideWithGPS or MapMyRide and they worked exactly as expected, signalling turns at the appropriate times. Recently, I decided to try plotting a few routes using the Create Course utility in Connect. The course was easy to create and easy to send to the 810 but, even though the menu in the 810 has Recalculate turned off, the route kept indicating it was rerouting and would try to tell me to turn down every side street I came across. I couldn't find a way to make it behave normally. When loading a gpx route from RideWithGPS, it does not behave like this... only with the the routes created using Connect. Does anyone know why it's doing it and/or how to make the 810 only signal turns that were plotted?
