610 - has summary data but no lap data and no upload

Hi

Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

I have a 610 and it intermittently seems to fail to transfer data so while the history tab shows the actual total distance and time for a given activity, when you go into the lap data, it shows 0's for everything.. and in the latest incarnation, the watch spontaneously reboots...

Needless to say, no data ends up the Garmin Connect site, nor on my laptop

It's a bit annoying because this inevitably happens when I've done a long run and want the data.. so for instance - I have a 20K run from last Sunday - it's there in the summary data but there's no data to upload. It's strange

I do not have a 610 but here is what I did to my 705 when it started giving me corrupt files.
I deleted every track and course and did a Master reset back to factory settings.
Then, since I had the latest software, I connected to WebUpdater and reloaded the latest software again.
That was 2 years ago and never another corrupt file.
Might work for you to clear all, reset back to factory and reload software.
