Garmin Forerunner 305 on iMac. Can't always upload my data

I have an intermittent issue on an iMac. I have a Garmin Forerunner 305 and for the vast majority of the time my data will not upload at the first attempt. It often takes 4 or 5 attempts with me having to "force quit" Safari, and then eventually it will work okay even though the process I follow hasn't changed.

In summary, what happens is that Garmin Connect gets to the "Reading activities" screen, the bar goes to 100% complete and it then hangs.

Any ideas?

I've been having the same problem for the last two weeks. My only work around has been to turn on the Forerunner 305 before uploading the activities: that seems to do the trick so far. Good luck.

Any luck with this problem? I go back and forth Safari/Chrome and computer restarts with some luck. I am looking for a better resolution.

    having same issue

I've had the same issue for a while. Very frustrating! It appears to be an Apple issue. I've tried it on my MacBook Pro and an iMac. Always requires more than one attempt.
A fix for this would be most appreciated.

Same here...always have to try again and again until it works, thus making me feel insane. (Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.)
