Why does Connect convert the coordinates I enter?

I am trying to manually enter a route using coordinates into Connect and when I enter the coordinates connect converts the LAT/LON coordinates to a different location. For instance when I enter N33 21.80 W90 15.67. Connect changes the coordinates to N33 21 48.0 W90 15 40.2. I need the route to be exact and I'm afraid that these conversions will put me out of exact arrival destination.

The coordinates are exactly the same; only with a different notation. You are using degrees and (decimal) minutes, whereas Connect displays them as degrees, minutes and (decimal) seconds.
0.80 * 60 = 48.0 and 0.67 * 60 = 40.2
