connection activities not visible

I am unable to see any of my connections' activities even though they have their profile set to be visible by connections. They are able to see my activities. Any idea how to fix this? I've searched for a setting that would change that but can't find anything. Thanks!

You have to set the privacy on individual activities. If you view an activity, there's a little padlock simple on the toolbar above the statistics and map. Click on the padlock to set privacy to "My connections" or "Everyone".
You can adjust the privacy for multiple activites at once if you go to Analyse > Activities, then Quick edit.
  • Wow great answer, I thought it was a bug showing only NEW activities AFTER setting the general privacy controls, but it seems this is the right way.

Old activities are under the old rule that makes them invisible...

    Can't find that though

  • Have the same issue. A new connection added 2 days ago can´t see any of the activities, even being them marked to "share with connections".

Found no way to change this yet! :(

It is also your counterpart that has to share the activity with connections. But first of all it has to accept your connection demand. And you (both) better set the visibility of activities, of the profiles, and of other details you wish to share, in Privacy Settings of your profile, globally.

  • Thanks.

So, from my connections, the older ones always could see my activities. Just the one added yesterday can´t see any.

I have the settings like this in "Privacy Settings":

    - Profile - Only me

    - Activities - My connections

    - Badges - My connections

Now the question is really what is the Profile definition doing. It is a bit misleading in my opinion. Should I set also visible to connections but then uncheck the boxes of the details I don´t want to share under the "Public Profile -> Personal Information -> check boxes" ???

  • Select whatever you want to be visible in your public profile. The rest won't be visible to anyone. The visibility of the public profile is a the top, so you have to allow the connections to see it too.

  • Solved. Thank you very much for your help.

  • Thanks for your answer. I'm really having the same problem as above fall guys
