Updated my Edge 800 firmware (Your version: 1.6---Latest version: 2.4) on my macbook pro last night (Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5) and it appeared to be working very slowly to update, but then i saw a screen that told me to unplug from my computer and start up my edge. So i did. Now it is forever stuck on the Garmin screen. Literally, i cannot turn it off. I hold down the power button (by itself) and it shuts down....but as soon as i release the button it starts back up. I also did a full reset (power + Lap + start) but that did not do anything either. Simply powers down and starts back up to Garmin screen. Additionally, I can't get my computer to recognize the Edge 800 as I have read in forums about removing files as a potential fix.
Any advice would be great. Thanks.
