Uploading Workouts. Hoe does it work?

Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Uploaded a workout to my 705 for the first time and rode the work out session. While riding the workout session functioned correctly....BUT... when I connect my 705 to upload new activities into Garmin Connect, I can on see the warm down section of the workout.

Some questions...

1) Should I expect to see the entire workout up loaded as a new activity into Garmin Connect?
2) Any suggestions on why Im only seeing the last section of the workout uploading?

I know the workout session uploaded to the device was working as it was giving me all the separate sections of the work out, time at heart rate zone corrected thru the duration of the ride.

Also, I have had the 705 for quite some time and uploading a standard ride works fine with no issue up loading to Connect.

Why I want to be able to upload completed workout sessions in full into Garmin Connect, is that I use this as a training diary, a I want to be able to see workout sessions recorded.

thanks in advance

Problem is with flaw in Gamin Connect....compared to how the device and GTC work

I figured it out after installing GTC. Issue seems to be with GConnect.

The problem is that GConnect, does not have the capability to do a heart rate exceeded trigger to increment to next step when configuring workout sessions.

What I thought I had done in GConnect is create a work out with a warm up step which would increment to next step when a specified heart rate was exceeded.

BUT..when looking at the workout in GTC, this was showing up as incrementing to next step when heart rate was below a specific heart rate.

HOWEVER....When you compare programable workout triggers in both the GPS device and GTC, you will see that you can configure next step triggers to be set to your heart rate exceeding a specific value.....BUT in GConnect this is not possible.
