Uploading from Forerunner 910XT I get the error "One of your files was not accepted by the system. Please contact Support for assistance." I then try to manually upload the .FIT file from my computer with the same error. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?
Yes I have experienced that problem. For me it was a case of one of the records in the middle of the file had a bad timestamp, the rest of the file was fine. I fixed it and uploaded the fixed version. I thought I would let Garmin know since they asked me to contact Support. They suggested I wipe all of my fit files off my computer. I replied with how disgusted I was at such a stupid suggestion, and lowered my already failing opinion of Garmin support by another point.
That's interesting. How did you fix the file? I'm on a Mac here. I don't know deleting all of your other FIT files would help fix the damaged file. Weird logic from Garmin support by the sound of things.
I deleted the offending record from within the file. If you are programming savvy there is a SDK from thisisant, else look for a repair tool, or post it here and someone might fix it for you. I reported what happened to me. The problem with your file could be that or any number of things.
