Another vote - the Garmin Connect site is great - but ALL of the other equipment and technology I use already integrates with MyFitnessPal.com - FitBit does it, the FREE apps on my phone tracking bike rides do it - why not my *awesome* expensive garmin watch?
If you look at the threads on Myfitnesspal.com, there are over 100 requests for this. While creating a link is hard, it would be good to link one of the top sites for weight loss tracking with one of the top sites for GPS tracked exercise.
There are many who would like to see this. MFP has a growing following (especially since the Lance Armstrong/Livestrong debacle). Come on guys, make it happen - would love to integrate my 910/GC/MFP. My Withings scale is already there....
In fact, several over at MyFitnessPal have gone as far as downloading the Garmin to Endomondo client to get their workouts on MFP. I would have thought it would take longer than manually logging in the readings from the Garmin device itself, but that's how motivated they are in having the link working.
I am considering buying a GARMIN Forerunner 210, but there is no chance that I will actually purchase until it connects to MFP. I have logged in to MFP for almost 600 days in a row, and it has helped me to lose 50 pounds and maintain my desired weight. I won't be without it, so only a tracker and HRM which connects to MFP will do for me. I'll have to look elsewhere.
+1 Would be great to not need to manually enter duplicate information into myfitnesspal as I currently do. It's bearable for a single activity per day, but where I have a few activities in a day (eg warmup + session/race + recovery) then it gets really tedious. Plenty of other devices already integrate with myfitnesspal, and it's not as if myfitnesspal is offering competing functionality to Garmin.
