Forerunner 410 with no graph, map, or charts in Garmin Connect....

Hi everyone,

I just bought the Forerunner 410. Did a 4-mile workout and uploaded it successfully to the Garmin Connect. It shows the summary data but it does not show any map; it says it has NO data for graphs or charts.... Did the watch not transmit the detail info? Or is it there is some setting in the watch I have to turn on to capture the run details? Please help. I am about to return this thing.... See a screenshot attached.

Thanks,
Jasper

same device, same issue, was also using the heart rate monitor.

It was ok until last Sunday, then something hapened when I tried to download the activity and I got an error from ANT Agent. Impossible to download it after several tries. I've to delete this activity to continue download the new ones (Monday and two on Tuesday). But now, all the news are with no graphs or charts but the GPS is fine because I can see all the details for each 1 km (lap).

    Waiting for solution ....

    Hi,

I asked the support and they send me instructions to do a Master Reset as below and everything is fine now. Try it.

"you may need to do a Master Reset on the device to clear any corrupt data that could be causing the issue. Your history, user profile, workouts and anything else that you have set up on the device to sent to it will be deleted as the watch will be set back to factory default. Please follow the steps below.
    1. Press the two buttons on the right side of the device
    2. Release the top button when you see the horizontal line on the watch
    3. Hold the bottom button for an additional seven seconds
    4. Release and answer 'Yes' to the prompt of erasing all user data
    5. Follow the tutorial to set up the device
Please take the watch out and see if it will track you data properly and upload to Garmin Connect and let me know if this does not resolve your issue."

I have a forerunner 405CX and I was having the same problem as OP, I tried this and everything works fine now. Thanks!

EDIT: I tried going for a run today with the heart rate monitor and GPS and I do not have any maps or charts on garmin connect. Just the normal data. Anyone found a solution to this problem?

I have same problem. Have followed the master reset procedure. Tried again. Still no joy.

Sorry - sure you've tried this but make sure your GPS setting is turned to on...... I had the same as above - and realised I had inadvertently turned the GPS off..... works fine now :)
  • You most likely have the device set to Indoors mode. Change it to Outdoors and let us know how you make out.

I have the same problem. Garmin Connect on IE, Chrome and Firefox isnt showing charts but when view the workout from my iphone, I can see the charts so it must have something to do with browser plug-in incompatibilities?
  • WESPOGI..... when I view the activities you listed above, everything appears to be there. Just to be clear, when you say charts are you talking about the graphs or the map? Either way, both show up for me.

The plugin doesn't have anything to do with the displaying of the Garmin Connect webpage. Your issue might be firewall issues, other browser issues such as security settings, or you might just need to clear the cache and cookies from your browser.

Of course when you say plug-in, I'm assuming you are talking about the garmin connect plugin.
