Last week installed the latest map update via Garmin lifetime update program. Gps worked fine in car mode on Saturday. Monday I switched to truck mode and a pop up error message stated bad data error. I turned off Gps a tried and restarted same message popped up, then followed by a message stating restoring to the last known update???? Using the driver logs as a reference it went back to 11/08/2011. I did do a system restore and wiped out all user data. Tonight I tried to reinstall the latest map. It wouldn't update and it froze and now it will not reboot. When powered on it goes to the loading map screen and after approx 10 seconds it shuts off. When connected to the USb it goes as far as the loading map screen for approx. 10 seconds then turns off then tries to reboot. I need this GPS for work I need to know how to do some type of complete system reboot.
