I have a Garmin 500. I have car maps and terrain maps in it. When I command "Walking" mode and start to walk the unit still thinks I am driving a car despite I have a walking figure on top of the map and a pair of shoes walking on the map.
All information I receive is based upon me driving a car despite I am walking deep in the forest. All distances will be completly wrong and it will not draw a Birds way to my goal.
How can I fix it to accept the right mode?
