Forerunner 610: Could not load Garmin Communicator plugin 4.0.3.0

Have just bought the Forerunner 610 and am looking to pair to the iMac using the Ant Agent. All seems fine until the program takes me into Chrome and the GCP install page (https://my.garmin.com/gcpInstall/checkPlugin.htm?target=https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/dashboard/dashboardScanDevice.htm) at which point I get the error message: Could not load Garmin Communicator plugin 4.0.3.0.

I'm using an iMac running OSX10.8.2. Any ideas?

I am having the same issue. Seems to have happened when I upgraded to OSX Mountain Lion. My Garmin Connect account also will not let me share to FB or any other social media site- the 'share' button isn't lit up and I can't figure out how to fix it. That also happened at the same time as my upgrade.

Any ideas appreciated!
