Will maps for 62 series work on a 550t ?

Made some custom maps that work on 60csx and 62s handhelds and wondering if anyone knows if the
Garmin uses the same format .img or gmapsupp.img on their Oregon 550 series handhelds? Thanks :)

If you have a custom IMG it should work on any unit.

Note that some years ago (~2009) Garmin changed maps to the "NT" format. Some older units do not support that but older format IMG's (e.g. most custom maps) should work in any device.

So if my custom maps show up in Mapsource, and someone has a 550t, they should be able to send them over to their device.
