FR405 - Workout disappeared in transfer to Connect

I did a 15 mile run tonight and went through the usual routine to upload it. I got the usual balloon message telling me the activity had been sent to Connect appearing over the Ant Agent on the windows task bar and went onto Garmin connect to find the activity was not there. It had been deleted from the watch and not sent to Training Center as per my Ant Agent settings and the Ant Agent transfer status showed: Last transfer was successful. Activities were transferred to Garmin Connect, but download of Goals failed.

Any ideas? Has my activity been lost into the ether?

p.s. I have since set my Ant Agent to also send the activity to Training Center and to NOT erase it from the watch just in case - for the next time. At least that would leave me the option of a manual upload

Hello.

I had the same problem this week.

I don't have the same hardware as you, but I found a way to get my activity back. It was also deleted from my Forerunner 410, but was apparently still on my Mac.

I just went to the Connect web site, and clicked on the Download button on the upper right corner. There, I saw my previous workouts, including the "lost" one. I was able to import it from there.

You could give it a try !

STEPHDEWIT - thanks for the post, your suggestion worked for recovering a couple of my activities. - Drew
