GC Player Map not displaying in Windows 8 & IE10

I found an old thread below and tried clearing my Temp Internet Files and deleting the site from the Adobe Flash settings as suggested but it didn't work.

Adobe Flash is version 11.3.375.10 which is the latest per http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

Adding connect.garmin.com to Trusted Sites didn't help.

Any suggestions?

I tried something I saw in yet another thread unrelated to my issue. I clicked the dropdown box as seen in this pic http://666kb.com/i/btnimkpdz9zo5j7rt.jpg . The moment I clicked it the map appeared and I had full functionality.
Side note: Prior to that I installed Firefox 16.0.1 along with Adobe Flash 11.4.402.287 just as a sanity check and it didn't have the issue.
