Average Pace Calculation Error after Full Edit

I frequently have to use the "full edit" page to change the distance of my runs due to GPS errors. When I edit the distance on the full edit page the pace is recalculated correctly. However once I hit save the pace is changed and is often incorrect on the Activities page. For instance, I ran this morning 4.29 miles in 37:10. The GPS had calculated 4.30 miles. When I changed the distance to 4.29 the pace was recalculated from 8:39 to 8:40. However when I hit save the value in the pace field changed to 8.7 and now shows in the Activities page as 8:42?
