Shoe Tracking - Garmin Connect

Need I say more, it´s been years since folks first brought this up as a much needed feature for Garmin Connect. I am still using another website in addition to Garmin Connect JUST to track my shoes´ mileage. Come on, it shouldn´t be that complicated to add this type of feature. You already have the best customer service out there. It would be great if you could also make sure that you are the ones providing the best software for using your own products. Thanks.

Pathetic. So Garmin releases a "new" Activity details screen that's really just a re-arrange of the old screen data and still no gear tracking.

Sneaker log would be an excellent feature (one might say necessity). Nike Plus website has the ability. Something Garman should consider. Has anyone hard form Gamin about adding a sneaker long to their connect website?

Garmin please consider adding this feature! Training Peaks has it, Runkeeper...etc, would really be a useful addition to your Garmin Connect.

Same here ideally you input data on connect and select your running shoes/gear before you start a run.
I have a Fenix 2 by the way.

I think this feature would add value to the brand/watches since we can run a nit more injury free :)

Come on Garmin you can do it!

I completely agree! I would gladly quit using Nike+ in addition to Garmin Connect, if GC would just add this shoe tracking feature. How difficult can it be to add?

For now I add my new shoes in as a comment on the first run...then at least I can find the date and use the report function to calculate the milage...but I'm all in let's get the function included

And not only for shoes, but also for other kind of gear like bike tyres, bike chain, ...

+1 for me. Now that Garmin has done an excellent job of fixing the elevation profile, I only use another website to track shoe mileage. Please add at your earliest convenience.

+1. I've recently asked for this feature in Garmin Support / Enhancement Request, thinking I was the first to ask for it :) Eheheh... what a naive I've been. At least since 2012 this feature has been asked for and no solution from Garmin. I think it is very simple to implement, very useful and requested by many Garmin devices users. Garmin: please listen to your clients and develop this simple feature of tracking running shoes milage in Garmin Connect. Thank you.
