I'd love to see 1-second recording added to the forerunner 210 - so the unit has a choice between smart recording and 1-second. This feature would make the watch heaps more suitable for orienteering, where courses feature regular and constant changes of direction.

I'd second that request! The quality of the data is so much better using 1-second recording. I've been getting some crazy NGP values due to the Smart Recording. I'd love to have the option to choose between the two.
