When sharing activity (Forerunner 610) on Facebook, the link talks about swimming....

Hi all,

When I share an activity from my Forerunner 610, via Garmin Connect to Facebook, the link that shows up on Facebook, states something like: "Your swim efficiency is calculated by....."?!?!? What's up with that? I'm running, not swimming! Why doesn't this statement reflect the actual activity as it is recorded in Connect?
I have looked to see if I could actually change that statement to something that I want it to say, or at least reflect that it is running, not swimming!
Does anyone know whether or not I can change it or select something else?

Thanks.

You can delete the swim efficiency message by clicking on it and pressing delete.

I have the same problem. We have to manually delete it each time before posting. It's a bug in the Addthis code integrated into the Garmin Connect web site. This should be pretty easy to fix by the webmaster
  • When are Garmin going to actually fix this problem

When are Garmin going to fix this problem. It seems to me they are happy to take peoples money for the watches but not develop there Garmin site or fix the problems. If they do not keep up and fix problems and develop the site then customer will go to the other brands who are investing and looking after their customers.

I'd also like to see this fixed. C'mon Garmin!
