nuvi 50 lm memory card set up

I have a 4 gb San Disk memory card installed in my nuvi 50. It shows up on Base Camp software but does not contain any data. I thought by installing this I would have a longer list of the Active Log entries.

How can I activate the card to keep a longer Active Log?

You can't, active log can only be stored on the nuvi :(
