Importing WalkJogRun course GPX files to connect

Are there any known issues with importing course/route information from walkjogrun.net to Connect via GPX? I have courses on WalkJogRun that I save as GPX (manual inspection shows pretty simple and valid looking XML using the GPX 1.1 schema). Using the manual upload on Connect I get a generic "could not create activities" message and, of course, no route uploaded. A sample GPX is attached.

My goal is to get WalkJogRun courses on Connect and then transferred to my ForeRunner 410. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Were you ever able to get this working?

The attached file is a GPX route. You can only upload GPX tracks to Garmin Connect, not routes.
And the tracks need to have valid timestamps for each point.

You could use GPSBabel to convert from route to track, and add fake timestamps. Some details here: http://www.gpsbabel.org/htmldoc-development/filter_track.html
