Cadence sensor is not recognized by the Oregon 450T. I did a reset. The Heart rate sensor and TEMPE sensor are connected and show the resutls on my screen. X50 version 5.90 or 6.00 did not make any difference.

Same here. 6.0 broke the connection to all of my cadence sensors.

I, too, have been trying to keep in contact with Garmin regarding this. My responses have been rather bland -- noting that the engineering department has been notified of the issue and are working to resolve the problem. I stated that this has been ongoing for some time now, and that I -- as a constant Garmin owner (this is my 5th unit) -- feel misled and rather ignored.

The response seems to me to be a generic response.

    Garmin Iberia (Spain) said me:

"The problem is the sensor Tempe, those of the first series have manufacturing defects and is left to proceed to change it".

can anyone confirm this? ... I will request an RMA

I doubt the Tempe logs temperature for tracks. Mine is reporting the temperature just fine. The issue (in this thread anyway) is that the Oregon 450 is not saving those readings in its track logs. I guess there's could be some issue with the Tempe that causes this but I haven't heard of any.

BTW Tempe's don't have a serial number (or even a code like the Chirp) so it'd be very difficult to determine which ones were "first series".

Oregon x50 firmware v6.10 released today.

    http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=4523

Changes made from version 6.00 to 6.10:

    * Improved ascent and descent calculations.

Nothing said about the Tempe tracklog bug but it may be fixed. I don't have the time to check until later today.
