garminconnect and fenix connection problems

Hi there, i am trying to connect my new fenix to garmin connect, but it stops at the trying to connect page after recognizing the fenix.
can anyone help

it seemed to fix itself, but i have also updated firmware now so thanks for steering me in that direction
