fenix Upload Activity to Connect does not complete

If I plug my fenix into my laptop via USB and then go to 'Upload' in Connect the fenix is listed as a detected device and the process starts - but then hangs while reading the activities. I have experienced the same problem with both FireFox and Chrome and have not had a successful upload. I have been able to connect via BaseCamp and manually upload gpx/tcx of the fenix activities.

Has anyone gotten this to work? Any help?

    I have exactly the same problem with my fenix. I have also tried different browsers with same result. And I am also able to upload gpx/tcx of the activities.

    try the following setting in the fenix Orange key>Setup>Tracks>Output

    Factory settings are GPX change it to GPX/fit the track is now recorded
    as a .fit and a .gpx the .GPX is in the GPX folder, the .fit file is in the Activities folder.

    After i did this, i had no problems uploading to Garmin Connect.

    I also had this problem, and the issue seems to be that the watch is delivered with Software version 2.20. (red button->Setup->About) Upgrade to version 2.40 and the problem got solved for me.

    This is working for me now - I changed a couple of details at once - firmaware upgrade, GPX/fit setting on Tracks, USB driver updates - so unfortunately while my problem is resolved I don't exactly know what the magic detail was to help anyone else who has this problem.

    Thanks for the replies - really helped me out to know that other folks had it working!
