I 've got the same problem, I was able in the past with the same setup on my mac,i did an update on my FR 305 and after I noticed it won't send to device anymore
I am not able to reproduce this issue with a 305. It must not be a connection issue, because any issues with connection would show a dialog from the communicator. Would it be possible to share the course that your are trying to send to the 305?
It's not a particular course that I m unable to send to device but any course I create in Garmin connect using the street drawer where we choose our own path or loop. I could do so in the past. It would help me navigate new path by seeing the map and the fore 305 telling me I'm away from course. However, I,m still able to send to device my old activities in Garmin connect and they appear as a course in my device.

Once in the past I did an update on my 705 and then started having trouble with auto laps and other stuff. I connected to WebUpdater again and reloaded the same update again and everything worked just fine. No problems. You might try reloading your update. :D

The plugin seems to be sending the courses successfully in the case of courses created from old activities. This may be an issue that is specific to the course creator. Moving this post to the Garmin Connect forum.
