Howdy ..
Just registered my 76Cx & am now studying on the MapSource app that came with it.
My impression is that (a) I'm supposed to be able to 'unlock' the MapSource product after which (b) I'll be able to select regions. ("The name and size of the map region appear in the status bar.")
When I click Utilities->Unlock Maps, I get an error message: "Unable to start the UnlockWizard. Please reinstall this program and try again."
Is it possible that I really don't have anything other than the world basemap?
I'm an admitted newby where GPS is concerned, so sure would appreciate some advice on what I need to do to get these "regions" the manual refers to. I know (think) I need BlueChart for navigating around some of the TX bays, but do I also need to get something for TX lakes?
