Garmin Connect Explore won't react

For some reason my laptop won't allow the Explore feature of Garmin Connect to work correctly, infact it won't work at all. When i click on the Explore tab and select the Actrivities & Courses it won't load up and stays on a map over London. It won't allow a search for my home town to be performed and when i scroll the map over to where i live it doesn't find any activities or courses. I'm pretty sure its a issue with my laptop as i can see the data on another PC or laptop but i don't know what to do to overcome the issue.

Any help would be appreciated as it's always nice to see what other connect users in the area are doing.
