Why do I get this message: "Unable to send course to device. Please try again later."? I am using a Garmin Edge800. I am able to transfer trainingprogram from my PC to Garmin unit, and I am also able to transfer activities from the Garmin unit to the PC.

Thanks,
Jorgen

well however it's described or named i used to be able to go to Garmin Connect, trace out a route, save it and upload it to my Dakota and now i can't so whether it's a track, route, Course or whatever i was generating it definately won't let me do it now. it's very frustrating that i have quite an expensive navigation aid and still need to carry a paper map because i can't upload the information to the Dakota
  • I have also recently started having the same issue with my Dakota 20. I used to be able to create a course in Garmin Connect and transfer it to my device. Now that's not possible. Has any resolution or work around been found? I can't understand why this used to work and now doesn't, unless Garmin have made some changes to the software.

FireFox won't send it to my 610 - chrome says it's sending it - and the watch appears to be receiving data but when I look in custom workouts it's not there. Very curious though, my old work out created for my 410 sends to the watch no problem. But all the new ones I created recently for the 610 appear to transfer but don't show up.
So obviously it is something with Garmin if it will send old workouts via any browser but not the new ones.
Fix it Garmin - or i'll sell the watch and go to Nike

I have this problem, with 800, 510 and 200. What are you to do, to get around it?

Same on Edge 810. Error sending course to Garmin fitness device.
  • Same two days ago on 910 XT and OS X Yosemite. After many tries, it eventually worked.
