GPSmap 62s - problem with microSD card

Hi
It was working fine until recently when it wouldn't startup, it got to 'loading maps' then the screen went blank. However, if I remove the MicroSD card then it works fine...
Is this a known bug or has the (brand new) MicroSD card broken?
