Manual Upload of Runkeeper .gpx files to GC ?

I followed the steps to upload a .gpx file produced in RunKeeper but the upload just appears to hang or do nothing. I choose the following file manually either from my desktop or CF card and no joy. Any ideas as I would love to transfer over all of my mapped runs.

I saved this file to the desktop and uploaded manually to GC using Google Chrome browser and was uploade quickly and able to view the details.
