GARMIN needs to take notice

Out of all the different forums I've frequented for manufactures of various products, GARMIN, I believe is making a serious mistake. While browsing GC forums over the last few months, I've noticed that no one that identifies themselves with GARMIN ever answers a post.

I imagine that someone short sighted in their management believes this is good for them. However a large percentage of posters would be appeased somewhat if we new that someone in GARMIN was interested in us, their customer.

In the Garmin Connect forum they do have an Announcements sub-forum, but it's not being used successfully.

If they had a sub forum for each device forum, that was titles "announcements" or "news", and only allowed GARMIN personnel to START threads in it, then they could have someone PR for their development teams whats going on so we the customer don't get the impression they only want our money and could care less. I know that last statement is not true, but they need to realize that that is the impression they are giving.

I'm generally happy with my Edge500. But to see all the misinformation that gets slung around here because Garmin doesn't have anyone letting us know how to use or correcting our misinterpretation of their product is shameful.
