I connected my nuvi 2595 to my PC on Sunday and did a map update. The software version is 7.10 and there were no issues with the update. I plugged the Garmin back in my car yesterday and now I have a grey screen. I haven't navigated anywhere yet - this is just in Map View. Everything else seems to work ... speed, compass, upcoming street names ... but no map, just a grey screen where the map would be. Can anyone help?
1 Turn the device on.
2 Hold your finger on the lower-right corner of
the device screen.
3 Keep your finger pressed until the
pop-up window appears.
4 Select Yes to clear all user data.
Now, try again en see if that fixed it, if not, do a reinstal of the maps by
downloading them again tru your My Garmin account.
