Issue while uploading Forerunner 310XT activities to Garmin Connect

Hi all,
As french technical support does not answer me, I post this thread, hoping somebody will help me. For a few weeks, although I use the same method to connect my 310 XT via Ant agent and upload my activities, some of them don't upload and I can't see then either via the "Download" link. For instance, on last Wednesday, I recorded 2 bike training and only the second has been uploaded. Yesterday, I did the 2 same trainings and none of them have been uploaded.
Had anybody encountered the same issue, then please advise.

  • Check that the activites have transfered from your device to the ANT Agent "Activities" folder.

    On Windows Vista/7
    C:\Users\<user ID>\AppData\Roaming\GARMIN\Devices\<device ID>\Activites

    The application data folder is hidden, so follow this in order to unhide it:

    on Mac OS:
    <user>/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Devices/Device ID/Activities

    You should see the fit files related to your activites. Looking at the dates of the files you should be able to tell what they are. If the problematic activity exists, you can do a manual upload of the file to at least get them saved off of your device. Then I'd check that the latest version Garmin communicator is installed and working. Communicator is what sends the files to Garmin Connect from the ANT agent folder.

    Although I should have been advised by an e-mail, I didn't see your post. I can see many .FIT files in this directory. I will see tomorrow. This morning activity seems to have been well transferred, but I can't see it on Garmin Connect. All of my softwares are up to date. Thx

    Anyway the most 2 important files refuse to upload : is there a way to fix this issue?

  • I went to the Garmin FAQ and got an answer that worked for me. You go to History on the watch and scroll down to and select the item that says to Download All. I thought it would download all the runs on my watch again, but it actually just found the one run that was previously missing. I hope this helps.

    Thx for the idea. But unfortunately, the missing runs were not uploaded to Garmin Connect. I think the .fit files are corrupted.
