Calender from Garmin connect to edge 800

I'm using Garmin Connect in combination with edge 800.
Connection works very well, for example I can load workouts from Connect into Edge 800.
Other way round I can upload workouts from edge 800 into Connect.

I've now used the Garmin connect calendar and have prepared a full workout scheme for the coming months. I don't manage to download that planning into my Edge 800.
When I go to planned workouts on edge 800, it remains empty.

I've seen a 2011 thread with similar question, but no answer.

Same trouble on the Edge 520

I create a schedule in garmin connect calendar and sync with the edge 520. The 520 is empty and says no workouts scheduled.
