Creating Workouts not possible - Maintenance ?

Hey,

I just wanted to check with you guys if you are experiencing the same issues. For the past 3 days I am receiving this error messeage when I try to create workouts in Garmin Connect.


I get this message as soon as I go onto the Trainings button. Calendar, Maps etc. all working fine just the creation of workouts gives me issues.

I have tried to see if this is a scheduled downtime but I have found nothing and the three days also seem to be quiet long.

Would be great if you guys could share if you have the same problem or if it is just me?

    I have exactly the same problem here, but for 3 weeks already!!

    It worked for about 1 day after my registration, but since then I just see that maintenance screen. I tried everything, from different browsers to compatibility-mode, could find no solution for this problem...

    Any ideas?

    I get the same screen.

    I can perfectly add a manual activity though. But it goes wrong the moment I click "add more data", then I get transferred to the screen in attachment.
    If I add the activity without clicking the "add more data", the activity can be saved, but also adding this extra data afterwards fails...

    Have been having trouble with the manual activities for a few weeks now... I hope Garmin is reading this and fixing it asap. Cause I love my connect (reason I use garmin for running and biking (and soon for swimming -> the reason why I still have manual activities now))

    No offical reply, it is not serious from a brand like garmin!

    Remember this is a USER community. It is a little shameful that GARMIN does not monitor this community and give us a little info. But it also shameful if you as a user having problems, don't go through the proper GARMIN support channels.

  • yeah, if you have an issue and you can't find help from other users through this USER forum, then you are talking in a void.

    If you had a problem with your car, you wouldn't scream to all the people on the interstate as they go by. Hoping that one of them is works for a repair shop and has time to stop. Just like you'd directly contact someone to fix your car, you should directly contact Garmin to fix your Garmin device or software issue.

    I don't like it anymore than you that Garmin doesn't have a big presence on this board. But sitting here bit%%ing about it isn't doing anyone any good. I know, I've bit%%ed here too, and it does no good.

  • Well zap... as you said, it's like screaming in a vacuum here. If you go to the help page for Garmin Connect : http://connect.garmin.com/help They have a Email option that they say to use if you can't find help elsewhere.

    If that didn't get results for the issue, then I'd find their number and call. Posting on this forum does not log a support ticket to Garmin. So by going through their official support process, the issues will at least get logged.
