USB stick seems dead

my USB stick seems dead :mad:. The ANT Agent say's "Not active, connect your USB stick." I'm working with MBP with 2 USB ports, OS 10.7.4 and ANT agent 2.2.0.

Is this a known error and what is the remedy?
