Please help! I have downloaded the latest USB Driver from the Garmin website but when I try to open and run it on my PC I get an error message that says I must first install a version of .net framework. Someone told me this is a form of MS Messenger and really do not want this on my system. I have an update CD for maps but can not use it without the driver. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
You need to install .NET Framework. Some Windows applications require the Microsoft .Net Framework on the client machine in order to execute properly. Nothing to do with MS Messenger.
